About Live Give 7B
Live Give 7B is more than a campaign—it’s a year-round resource and celebration of the people and organizations that make our community thrive. While our giving campaign takes center stage one week each year, the mission of Live Give 7B continues every day. This platform was created to help our community connect with local nonprofits, explore the incredible work they do throughout the year, and discover meaningful ways to give back. In our inaugural year, we set a goal of raising $70,000—and together, we more than tripled that, generating over $225,000 in support of area nonprofits. As we close the chapter on an incredible first campaign week, we look ahead to future events and initiatives that uplift all things local—from nonprofits and businesses to the people who make this place home.
How It All Started. Live Give 7B was born from the conversations of local nonprofit leaders—Executive Directors who gather monthly to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen the work we do for our community. In one of those meetings, a simple question sparked a big idea: How can we help our neighbors see and support the powerful work happening right here at home? From that conversation grew a shared vision—not only to spotlight the incredible efforts of area nonprofits, but also to celebrate the business community that fuels our local economy and consistently shows up in support of these causes. Live Give 7B is our way of bringing it all together: nonprofits, businesses, and the community, united in making this place we love even stronger.
